The regulation of wandering rivers is a universal problem that attracts significant attention. To effectively control the dynamic state river course, it necessary to adjust and construct training works, which can be regarded as inseparable parts planning lines. In this study, by comprehensively analyzing water sediment discharge in Yellow River over period 1952–2020, large change conditions will inevitably affect regimes. By regime evolution process from 1990 2020 calculating index, found channel has gradually been stabilized, there no longer change, but small amplitude swing still occurs frequently since 2010. Therefore, these phenomena highlight an urgent need for improving According properties parabola, circular arcs, elliptical arcs curvature curves are used describe flow path river. theoretical equations line with four curve forms developed based on latest regimes location existing works basis. Four groups were verified selecting typical bends or reaches. innovative practices study may assist providing technical references, frequent changes occurred regime, well guaranteeing healthy sustainable development rivers.
